ART Apartments are an investor focused development in the Adelaide CBD. Developed by GuavaLime and designed by Loucas Zahos Architects, ART is a collection of inner-city apartments designed as an exercise in improving the housing options for those on the National Rental Affordability Scheme.

Our solution for all branding, including the development name ‘ART’ was inspired by an Andy Warhol quote; “Making money is art and working is art and good business is the best art”.

With incentives for investors, the branding was designed to reflect the developers desire to create something that not only made good business sense, but also offered something for the residents that would call the building home.

Bold shapes and colours became the building blocks of the identity, with a logotype designed to reflect the pop art movement Warhol made famous. The development team loved the concept and took it even further, hosting a local artist competition with the winning artists sculpture taking pride of place on the eastern façade of the building. Furthermore, artwork was created for the lobby’s on each floor of the building by a prominent local artist.
